I'm sure most people will recognize the music from SMB (not to mention the *boing* from your characters jumping) and the dog's laugh from Duck Hunt. The sound of these games were definitely memorable. However, for the time that these games were originally released, they were pretty much as good as they got. Obviously, the graphics of these games are nothing compared to those of the games of today. In the events that you would compete at the same time in real life Track, youplay simultaneously here in this game. Finally, World Class Track Meet, you plug in you power pad to simulate competing head to head in a variety of track and field events (including the 100m dash and high jump). In the third mode, you play as a target shooter and fire on pairs of clay pigeons. In the first two modes, you play the role of a duck hunter (as the name would imply). Second, Duck Hunt, you pick up your lightgun for a variety of game modes. Instead, the players take turns when one dies or moves on to the next level. Unlike the Super Mario games that came after it (SMB 3 and SMB World) the progress of a player does not effect the other's. You quest through a variety of side scrolling levels in a quest to save the Princess. First, Super Mario Brothers, you play the role of one of the two now famous Italian video game plumbers, Mario and Luigi, who are still alive and kicking in modern Nintendo games.
